About Me

Go to Shop Pictures Below!

Just a small country shop in the corn fields of Iowa.
Started this shop full time in 1986 and have been at it ever since.
Ran heavy equipment with family business for 25 years
till I went full time in the Hot Rod business.

Just Like Cars!

All I could ever afford back then was
rusty old used cars that needed a lot of work.
Guess that's how it all started.  Had to learn how to fix 'em.
Suppose I did ruin a few of them in the beginning but after awhile
without really realizing it I got good at it. Now I'm hand making panels
and welding them in sometimes almost unnoticeable. Most of the welds need only
Primmer to finnish.

Well Furnished Shop

I have a full shop with Shears, brakes, rollers, English wheel, Chassis table, notches
and about any hand tool I need.  Can cut parts with a pattern burn table for
Chassis building or making hammer forms and dies. A lot of the work
here just takes a lot of good old hammer and dolly work. Some
time machines just can't replace the hand method. These
old cars are getting to be in such bad shape from
years of rusting away that it's making them
very difficult to fix. I still say
It's kind of
   Fun!

(Still can't afford new cars)

In
Goof off mode
I like to go country dancing.
I'm a single guy and it's just great to
get to dance with all the pretty gals. It's a great
way to meet people. I go at least once a week and often
more. I also try to play the guitar, banjo and keyboard. It's just
something I like to do for my enjoyment. I did used to play the guitar and
banjo at a little place near my home for three or four years.  The crowd did seem
to like it. It was a lot of fun. I do still play for an occasional party now and then. I also like
Old Cars and Harley Davidsons.  I have a 79 electra glide that I will probably have for the rest
of my life. Don't ride a lot anymore but do still love to ride. Should get it out more this year!
Last but not least is this darn computer.  It's a lot of fun but takes too much time. Didn't
think that I would ever get into it this strong but in the year 2000 it just seems to be a
Must to know how to use one.
Guess that's it for now
See Ya!
