Building the LSR vehicle body
It seems like we were just too busy building things to think about taking pictures as we went along. I wish that I would have now but I can't go back! Here are just some of the ones that we did take towards the end of the Streamliner body building project.
To start off with I will just have to put a shot of myself with the car!

I started this project of building the body for the streamliner in the last part of April 1999
and got it finished in August 1999. With the help of Roy working every afternoon and
myself working everyday! Yep. Saturdays too!
The body is made from 3003 half hard aluminum. Till this time I have not worked
with much of this material. Usually just steel. It took awhile to get the hang of doing
things. Like welding it! I did know how to tig weld aluminum but haven't done that
much of it.
Here is a shot of Roy with the car. You know that in the spring we really did think
that we would have the car running at the salt flats in August 99! Wrong! We are
