The End For Now! Roy and Steve took the car to Cedar Rapids to Cummins to have them help fire up the engine for the first time. After fixing some leaks and other minor problems it was running. I was not present but the report from the guys was that it was just awesome!! We still are working on the onboard computer for data reporting and some wireing. We are going to make it for sure! Hope to add a finished picture before we go. Still haven't had it totally assembled yet for a finished picture. We have loaded the streamliner in the trailer and it's on the way to Bonneville right now. Be there for inspection on Aug. 10. I could not go along because of problems I am having after a triple bypass surgery I had last month. Bummer!!! I should not have been trying to work on it this last week. Too soon I guess!
