We Now Hold the Diesel Streamliner Record

Chassis Engineering inc.
has been a leader in Hot Rod Chassis parts
for over 34 years

Well, We didn't get the car finished for August 2000.
The Team has Decided to wait till August of 2001 to run.
This will give us plenty of time to finnish the streamliner right.
It's now July of 2001 and we are going to the salt for sure August 10.
We had engine trouble and ruined 4 pistions in 2001. (bummer)
In 2002 we finally broke the record in our class.
226.591 mph.
2003 -- 300 mph?

Aug. 16 2006
Roy drove the Chassis Engineering Special
to a new record speed of  306.816
Making it the first diesel powered vehicle of any kind
to go over 300 mph.
